We will meet at the central field in the day use area at 8:30pm. Look for the ranger's white truck. There will be a campfire to sit around so bring anything you'd like to roast over the fire! We'll share stories from the Caddo Nation, and early Texas settlers. We may even get an instrument out for a few songs!
This program is free to attend, but park entrance fees apply.
$5 per person 13 years and older, 12 and under are FREE!

Join us at The TROUT POND TRAILHEAD at 8:30PM to explore the trail after dark. We will hike by lantern light to step into the past. This hike will be a mile long, and it should last about an hour.
Bring a flashlight for emergency light, wear closed toes walking shoes, and bring some bug spray.
Our entrance fees apply for getting into the park
($5 per person 13 and older and 12 and under are FREE)
but the event is free!

Easter Update! We will be doing a candy pick up! We will start at 1:30pm till we run out of candy or 4:30pm. Please bring an easter basket or bag, and we will give out a scoop of candy per child. If you plan to stay at the park after getting candy you will need to pay entrance fees. If you are picking up candy and leaving we won't charge.

Good afternoon, we realize the weather for tomorrow's egg hunt is looking wet! We will make a call on what the park will do at 10am tomorrow. Here are the possible outcomes for tomorrow:
Option 1: If the rain clears, we will have the egg hunt as scheduled.
Option 2: If the rain doesn't stop, we will do a drive thru easter candy pick up. If we take this route, you won't pay entrance fees unless you decide to stay at the park.
We apologize for any inconvenience and we hope to see you tomorrow!
