It is a gracious, rambling, one-story estate, surrounded by a 2 acre wooded glen, and yet is only a 5 minute walk from Main St. shops and restaurants. Comfortably furnished and decorated with Scottish antiques, GlenMorey House provides a quiet, relaxing retreat for our guests.

Finally finished! Dreaming of how this porch could be a sunroom for 25 years, and finally it is done! No mosquitoes in spring, cooler in Summer, warmer in winter. Repaired and encased stained glass cabinet doors in protective tempered glass…. More of a project than I thought it would be, but glad to repurpose part of the house. The final touch! Now… what kind of furniture do you think it needs??

We had a last minute cancellation for this weekend! While some members of the party understood we have outdoor cats, chickens, and many wild deer on the property, other members of the group were unaware dogs should be leashed when outside, for the safety of all involved. (We have never had problems with aggressive deer, but they will stand their ground with dogs, and we want nobody to get hurt!)

I bought this beautiful bee hive I’ve wanted for 10 years. It’s going to be placed far away from the house, behind a fence, at the bottom of my vegetable garden. It’s special. You don’t have to open it and disturb the bees to harvest the honey, you turn a crank and it flows through the tube and into a jar. You can watch the bees work through the observation windows.
