WE ARE GETTING READY FOR FAMILY REUNION 2014...HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE....FAMILY LIFE IS WAY TO SHORT TO LET ISSUES GET IN OUR WAY....LET'S ALL PLEASE COME TOGETHER AND ENJOY ONE ANOTHER WHILE WE ARE ALL STILL HERE. DON'T WAIT UNTIL YOU HAVE TO LOOK IN SOMEONE FACE IN A CASKET AND SAY I WISH I HAD TOLD THEM THIS OR THAT...JUST KEEPING IT REAL....TIME IS OUT FOR PETTINESS AND FOOLISHNESS....LET'S ALL COME TOGETHER FOR THIS ONE WEEKEND ON ONE ACCORD AND ENJOY ONE ANOTHER WHILE WE STILL HAVE A CHANCE. Ok family members we have been a little slow on the draw again but everything is moving along nicely for Family Reunion 2014. This year the New York Committee is in charge of the festivities and they have promised a good time to all who plan to attend. And the dates are Thursday July 24th-Sunday July 27th, 2014 in Long Island, NY.
The Host Hotel for the Reunion this year is the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Plainview, NY. All the rooms are suites and offer a variety of amenities for your convenience. All rates do include a breakfast buffet daily as well. The room rate is $159.00 per night plus taxes and we must reserve at least 10 rooms in order to receive this rate. You can make your reservations by contacting the hotel directly at (516) 293-4663 and ask for the United Jamison Family Block. Rooms must be reserved by June 24th otherwise the rooms will be released back into general inventory.
Registration fees have gone up slightly this year Adults (13-up) $70.00, Children (4-12) $40.00 and 3 and under free. T-shirts are also available for $15.00 each. Please get your registration fees in as soon as possible. You can make your check or money order payable to Annette Bosede and mail it to P.O. Box 3024 South Famingdale, NY 11735.
The schedule of events are as follows:
Thursday (July 24th) Check in/Get Acquainted Reception
Friday (July 25th) Day Trip to tour NYC
Saturday (July 26th) Family Picnic & Theme Social
Sunday (July 27th) Church Service & Farewell Banquet

Ok family members, we have been REALLY slow in sending in your registration fees....so when you get down here and things aren't the way you think they should be, don't complain....because as with anything it takes money to make things happen and if we don't have any money then nothing can happen. Just thought I'd share that tidbit with you. Anyway for those of you planning on attending, you have until Tuesday June 25 to book your room at the Holiday Inn Express in Summerville. The rate is $90.00 per night plus tax and you can call the hotel directly at (843) 875-3300. We are really looking forward to having a great time. I know it will probably only be a few of us but we are not gonna let the numbers deter us because we are coming together on a happy occasion and not because someone else has gone on. So those that decide not to attend for whatever reason, it's their loss and not ours. So in a nutshell, I hope to be hearing from you soon because we really need to know just how many people we are planning for based on the registration that we have received the count is currently 3!!!!!! Big shout out to Johnnie Mae, Jason & Major because as usually they were the first to send in their registration. We will be sending out a final letter by the first week of July just letting you know the final plans so be on the lookout and if you don't get a letter it's because I don't have your address.

We are planning a great time for all that plan to attend. It was only a few of us that made it to Tennessee last year. But I hope and pray that's not this case this year. I realize that it has been awhile since you have heard from the SC Committee as to what we are doing on our end but rest assured plans are being made. We will be sending out a letter within the week that will include registration fees and hotel prices plus other information. Please accept our most sincere apologies for not contacting you sooner.
