Our grandson Ryan Latinville got it done this week on Lake Champlain bringing home the Major League Fishing BFL win with a monster mixed bag of largemouth and smallmouth bass weighing 23-15. He is a local guide here and his hard work paid off in a big way! Look at where we live 🎣
Ryan Latinville finally got the win that had been eluding him on Lake Champlain, and he did it in style.
At Saturday's Phoenix Boats Bass Fishing League Presented by T-H Marine Supplies event for the Northeast Division Presented by 3rd Deck Brewing Co., Latinville sacked up nearly 24 pounds of both largemouth and smallmouth. He won by more than 2 pounds (that’s a rout on Champlain) and pocketed a hefty $9,960 (including a Phoenix Boats Bonus). Most important, after logging eight prior Top 10s on Champlain without a win, Latinville finally got to take home a trophy.
Meanwhile, the Ohio River hosted a Hoosier Division doubleheader, and the weights were tight both days. On Saturday, Noah Woodring weighed 9-9 to edge Richard Ison by 4 ounces and claim his first career win. Then, on Sunday, Marty Sisk and Blake Knies tied for the victory with 8-9 apiece.
