We’re looking forward to another weekend at Shady Oaks.

Friday night we’ll have karaoke at the campground, and on Saturday night we’ll show another movie at the Holiday Rambler Theater.

It’s been good to see more people settling in for the season and spending time around the campground as summer starts to get underway.

Memorial Day Weekend was a great start to the summer season at Shady Oaks.

With Cornerstone Pizza and Austin and the In-Laws on Friday night, the neighborhood lawn sales during the day on Saturday and Sunday, and our first movie of the season at the Holiday Rambler Theater on Saturday night, it was great to see so many people out enjoying the campground throughout the weekend.

We’re really grateful to everyone who came out, stayed with us, stopped by for an event, or spent part of the weekend at the campground. After all of the work that’s gone into getting ready for the season, it was exciting to see the campground full of people again and to officially get Season Two underway.

We’re looking forward to a great summer ahead!

Opening weekend is in the books.

Despite the weather, we had a great start to the season — it was really good to see so many people come out and stay with us.

It was also great to see our seasonal campers settling back into their sites and the campground starting to come back to life again.

There’s still plenty to do, but we’re off and running for Season Two.

It’s starting to feel a little more like spring, and we’re getting closer to opening day at Shady Oaks.

As we wrap up the last of our pre-season work, we’re looking forward to having people back on site and seeing the campground come back to life again.

From May 1 through May 21, we’re offering a Spring Shakedown Special with 50% off all stays — a great opportunity to get out early in the season, try out your setup after winter storage, and spend some time
at the campground as everything comes together.

Since purchasing the campground in 2024, a big part of the work has been bringing sites back online — clearing areas, repairing and improving infrastructure, and getting them ready for the seasons ahead.

This post highlights the seasonal sites that are currently available as we get closer to our May 1 opening.
