The Pantry has an abundance of grapes that need to be homed before the heat spoils them.
We are open Monday through Friday from Noon until 2 p.m. However, we will want these grapes rehomed as soon as possible.
Don't miss out!
There are so many uses for grapes, including putting some in your cold salads.
Consider this recipe made using some ingredients from the Pantry,
OR simply cut up some grapes and toss them in your cold water for a natural flavoring.
Chicken Salad with Grapes & Walnuts
Ingredients
1/4 cup mayonnaise (The pantry has these in packets)
1/4 cup plain yogurt
1 tablespoon honey Dijon mustard
3 cups canned or cooked chicken
1 cup halved grapes
2 celery ribs, chopped
1/2 cup chopped Walnuts (pecans or cashews also would taste good)
2 green onions, thinly sliced
Lettuce leaves
Directions
In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, yogurt and mustard. Add chicken, grapes, celery, nuts and green onions; toss to coat. Serve on lettuce.
