🌲 **My Guide to the Perfect Weekend at Plymouth Sands** 🌊
Hi, I’m Ashley! If you’re coming to Plymouth Sands Campground in Plymouth, NH and want to make the most of your weekend, here’s exactly how I’d spend it. ❤️
**FRIDAY:**
Arrive anytime between 1–8 PM, check in, and get settled into your site. Stop by our lending library and grab a book to keep and a game to borrow for your weekend.
Need firewood or ice? Just let us know — we’ll deliver it right to your site. 🔥🧊
Then forget about the clock. Take a dip in the river, grab your float, and spend the afternoon drifting along the water. Come back for a hot shower, make dinner over the campfire, and finish the evening with s’mores and stargazing. ✨
**SATURDAY:**
Wake up to the sound of the birds and make breakfast over the fire — or head into town for breakfast at The Main Street Station, grab it to go at Common Man’s roadside, or pop into Annie’s Overflow.☕🥓
Then it’s time for a little adventure!
For an easy, family-friendly waterfall hike, check out Rainbow Falls — it’s a short 1.2-mile round trip through the woods to a beautiful little waterfall. Sculptured Rocks is another local favorite!
After your adventure, spend some time exploring downtown Plymouth. Browse Plymouth Soapworks, get lost in the shelves at Scarlet Letter Books, grab lunch at La Familia, and enjoy a brewery break at Dark Nebula. 🍺
Before heading back to camp, stop at Long View Farm for some fresh local produce to bring home.
Then… back to Plymouth Sands. ❤️
Put your feet up on the beach. Swing in the hammock. Take (another) float down the river. Swim. Read that book you grabbed from the lending library or Scarlet Letter. Do absolutely nothing for a while.
Because that’s the whole point.
Saturday night check out a nearby restaurant: some of our favorites include: The Last Chair Brewery, The Covered Bridge Restaurant, Foster's Boiler Room, La Familia, Grotto, The Little Red Schoolhouse
**SUNDAY:**
Sleep in. You’re camping — you’re allowed to!
Grab a coffee or smoothie and breakfast at Mountain Mermaid, head back to the campground for one last river swim, and soak up those final few moments of your weekend. ☕🌊
And before you pack up…plan your next visit!
That’s my idea of the perfect weekend at Plymouth Sands: a little adventure, a little exploring, great local food, plenty of time on the river, campfires, stars, and absolutely nowhere you need to be.
**Come stay awhile. We’ll see you at the beach! ❤️**
