Beautiful, true food meals start with fresh ingredients. We make food that gives you energy, that is easy to digest and lights you up for a great afternoon enjoying the Vt landscape or sleeping well after a hot tub session.
At Good Commons VT, our food is a big part of the retreat experience. Gathering around a table to break bread, share space and say YES after that first bite of kale salad with avocado dressing!
That’s why we love Market on the Green! (Market on the Green, Woodstock VT)It’s a wonderful place to find fresh, seasonal vegetables and ingredients to bring into the kitchen—whether we’re roasting fresh corn to add to spicy arugula, or new potatoes w garlic crema, or simply letting the season inspire the menu!
For us, it’s about more than just fresh vegetables. It’s about connecting with where our food comes from, supporting local growers, and bringing that sense of freshness and care to the retreat table.
Fresh from the market → into the kitchen → shared around the table. Good food Good Community

Men’s Weekend = good, good times.
A weekend built around smart, generous gentlemen - an abundance of laughs and no shortage of spirited conversation, whether around the harvest table, by the fire pit, or during a long soak in the tub. Local veggies from Fresh Roots Farm, a little Long Trail, and a stroll through the Sidewalk Sales in downtown Woodstock, and must do every year - zip lining at Killington Mountain Resort.
From start to finish, the goal was simple: have fun, make memories, enjoy time in a safe space together.
Mission accomplished.
Here’s to the next one! Chuck Raffoni
