Somebody will always arrive early.
Somebody will always ask where to put the food.
There is almost always one person who insists they don't need a chair... until they do. 😂

And no matter how much planning goes into an event, the moments people remember most usually aren't the ones written on the checklist.

It's the conversations.
The laughter.
The people who haven't seen each other in too long.
The stories that get told again and again.

We've had the privilege of helping Southeast Michigan families, businesses, schools, and organizations gather for nearly three decades.

You know how it goes.
You invite a few people.
Then someone asks if their kids can come.
Then your cousin brings someone.
Then Grandma says, "Well, you can't leave them out."

October Is Closer Than You Think

Tomorrow is October.

Which means somewhere in Southeast Michigan, someone is about to realize the event they've been saying is “next month” is suddenly happening in a few weeks. 👀

If that's you, this is your friendly reminder.

Start with the boring stuff first.

How many people?
Where will they sit?
What happens if it's cold?
What time does it get dark?
How are you serving food?
Figure those things out first.

Then worry about the pumpkins. 🎃

Before you buy 30 folding chairs you're going to have to store somewhere...
We should probably talk. 😂

Hosting at home has a funny way of making people buy things they'll use once.

Extra tables.
Extra chairs.
Serving pieces.
Linens.

Then the party ends and suddenly you're playing Tetris in the garage for the next five years.
