Fall at the lighthouse feels like a warm exhale. It’s the exact moment where the energy of summer settles into something entirely different and peaceful.

September and October bring crisp ocean air, completely quiet beaches, and the calm views of Buzzards Bay all to yourself. This is the season when Wings Neck is at its most tranquil, offering the perfect backdrop to disconnect and slow down.

We are also booking for the holiday season, whether that's Thanksgiving in a home away from home, or under the Christmas tree here in Wings Neck.

We are currently open for the autumn season. Plan your quiet coastal retreat today at wingsnecklighthouse.org/book-no

Finding solitude on Cape Cod during the final weeks of summer can feel nearly impossible, but at the edge of Wings Neck Point, the rest of the world completely fades away.

When you stay here, you have an entire private shoreline to yourself. Late August is characterized by tide pools, water lapping against the stone foundation, and quiet, unobstructed views of the bay. It is a place designed for slow mornings on the outdoor patio and evening skies that turn brilliant shades of orange and gold before your eyes.

If the end of the season has you dreaming of a peaceful coastal retreat, now is the time to plan ahead. Autumn on the Cape offers the same breathtaking views and crisp sea air, but with an unmatched sense of stillness.

Fall dates are currently open. You can browse available weekends and booking details at wingsnecklighthouse.org/rates

Mornings at the tip of Wings Neck Point look like still water, a few passing boats, and the sun coming up over the bay.

With water views from every window and a private beach a short walk from the door, this is the kind of quiet that is hard to find. Even though summer is special, we’re already looking forward to September and October, when the shoreline is even calmer, and the golden sunlight fills the sky.

There are over 130 years of stories in these walls. The light at Wings Neck was first established in 1849, and the keeper's house you would stay in today was built in 1889, connected to the tower by a covered breezeway that was rare even then.

It guided ships through Buzzards Bay and the Cape Cod Canal for decades before becoming the private coastal home it is now.

Not many rentals come with their own chapter of New England history. Come add yours.

Two types of vacations, one destination! Wings Neck is the perfect destination whether you are traveling with a houseful or just the two of you.

Families spread out across three bedrooms that sleep eight, with a private beach, beach toys, and a gas grill for long summer days. Couples tend to claim the outdoor patio at the water's edge and the top of the tower at sunset.

Same oceanfront quiet either way, and the whole property is yours, lighthouse and all.
