Idaho State University Outdoor Adventure Center Love to play in the outdoors or need equipment for your next adventure? You’ve come to the right place! isu.edu/outdoor

We are a university based, outdoor education and recreation program which offers common adventure trips, classes & workshops, and outdoor informational services. The Outdoor Adventure Center provides outdoor equipment rentals, information on the equipment, and equipment repairs.

Today is the last Open Climb of the season! Thank you to everyone that has climbed with us!

Join us at the Main Wall of Sunnyside of Ross Park from 5pm - dark for the last Open Climb of the year!

There will be gear provided and beginners are welcome. ISU students climb for free and a day pass is $3.

You can enter for a chance to win this amazing Norrøna gear at the pre-party for Warren Miller on Saturday, November 14th. The raffle drawing will take place at the intermission of the Warren Miller film! You must be present to win.

This year's film will be shown at 8pm on Saturday, November 14th in the Bengal Theater. There will be a pre-party at 6:30pm in the Wood River Room that you won't want to miss! At the pre-party there will be b**r and w**e for sale, hors d'oeuvres, raffle ticket sales, and more!

Tickets are $17 in advance and $20 at the door. Tickets purchased in advance must be picked up at the Bengal Theater ticket window before the show.

There will also be a matinee showing at 3pm. Tickets are $13 in advance and $15 at the door.

Castle Rocks Fall 2026!

Students went climbing at Castle Rocks State Park on Saturday. Some students experienced climbing outside for the first time while others got to climb routes that were new to them!

Save the date for the Pocatello Ski Swap and the Warren Miller Ski Film!

The Pocatello Ski Swap will take place on November 13 & 14 at the Pond Student Union Building. Entry to the sale is free! Barrie's Ski and Sports will be selling their equipment at the sale! Go to isu.edu/outdoor for more information.

The Warren Miller Entertainment Ski Film will be on Saturday, November 14 at the ISU Bengal Theater! The doors open for the main show at 8pm and there will be a pre-party in the Wood River Room starting at 6:30pm!

We start taking reservations for our yurts today (10/1) at 9am!

You can stop by the Outdoor Adventure Center or call 208-282-3912 at 9am to reserve a yurt! Full payment is required at the time of reservation.

The Idaho Falls Ski Swap is back November 6–7 and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever!

We’re excited to have Kelly Canyon Resort at the Swap selling passes and merchandise, and Barrie's Ski And Sports will also be there selling equipment!
Location: Bennion Student Union Building at University Place on the Idaho Falls ISU Campus — same location as last year.

Admission is FREE!

All proceeds support the Idaho Falls Composite Youth Bike Team and the ISU Outdoor Adventure Center.

Bring your equipment to the swap for consignment before the sale begins:

Thursday, Nov. 5: 4–8 PM

Friday, Nov. 6: 10 AM–4 PM

Equipment will not be accepted for consignment once the sale starts.
