⚡ PPL ELECTRIC / PJM VOLTAGE REDUCTION TEST ⚡
Heads up, PPL Electric customers!
PJM has rescheduled its temporary voltage reduction test to Thursday, August 20, from 3:00–3:30 PM.
🔌 During the test, electric grid voltage will be reduced by approximately 5%. Most customers should not notice any change in service.
🏢 Businesses: Monitor equipment during the test, especially electronics or equipment that may be sensitive to lower voltage.
This is only a 30-minute test and is part of PJM’s preparation for periods of extremely high electricity demand.
