Ten years of stays. A move from the East Coast to Colorado. And somehow, The Windswept is still part of Maria’s Jersey Shore story.
After we wrote to introduce ourselves as the new owners, longtime guest Maria Fiorello wrote back, and sent along these photographs from her stays over the years: an evening from the upper boardwalk landing, a rainbow after a storm, and the moon over the water.
She told us about escaping Philadelphia for a few days by the ocean, about our “exceptional, just the kindest, warm hearted, sweet and so accommodating” staff, and about coming back. “I enjoyed every stay, sincerely”. 💙🌊
That’s the kind of history we inherited here. A motel is rooms and keys and reservations. A place people return to for ten summers is something else.
