The W.T. Wooten Wildlife Area's multiple campgrounds and fishing lakes in southeast Washington have visitors from all over the state. If you're planning to visit, a reminder that the Tucannon Road that traverses the wildlife area is closed at the turn off to the Tucannon Hatchery due to damage from flooding a couple weeks ago. That means the campgrounds and lakes past that are also closed until further notice. At this time, only Spring, Blue, and Rainbow lakes are open. Signs are posted designating closed areas. Please abide by them for your safety and to prevent further damage to weakened infrastructure and soft ground.

GOOD news!!! Rainbow Lake and Campground 3 are now open.

Even better - we will have fresh baked cinnamon rolls and bagels at the store.
