Inn at Fox Hill Farm Fox Hill Farm is tucked away in the "Quiet Corner of New England," in the little town of Pomfret, Connecticut, which hasn't changed much at all since 1713.

Enjoy Connecticut's "Quiet Corner" where life is simpler and the pace is slower. The beautiful view is just the beginning. Once you walk through the door, you will instantly feel at home. Arrive your first evening and begin to unwind. Your bedchamber will be prepared especially for you, adorned with flowers and candles. Enjoy a ch*****ne evening and dream the night away. Awaken at the time of your choosing. Somehow drag yourself out of the warm, comfortable king-size bed, grab the luxurious cotton robes waiting for you in the closet and make your way out to your private dining area. Look out the French doors or go out onto your private deck and enjoy the lake view… let it take your breath away. Sit and be served the breakfast of your choice and linger as long as you. If you choose, your afternoon may include lunch at the Vanilla Bean Café, a hike or a leisurely walk along a country trail, berry picking in summer months or apple and pumpkin picking in the fall. Sitting by the flickering wood burning stove and watching the snow falling during the winter is especially relaxing at Fox Hill Farm. Return to the cottage and freshen up for an elegant dinner at one of the area’s award-winning restaurants including Sharpe Hill Vineyard and Grille 37 here in Pomfret and Bella’s Bistro in nearby Putnam. At some point in the evening, find serenity, sleep well and dream. The next day do it all again. Your stay at the cottage will become a lasting memory for both of you.

I don’t know where to begin!
We had the most amazing night here. We had been visiting family and friends and wanted a night of peace and quiet, and that’s exactly what we got.
Nick greeted us, showed us around, took our breakfast order and gave us a great dinner recommendation. The bed was heavenly, the best sleep we had in days.
Nick’s special blueberry pancakes are a must! We were fortunate enough that he had the time to join us at breakfast and we had such a lovely time talking. Bonus for us, it was his birthday! We wish we had known before to celebrate him properly.
Unfortunately we could only stay one night, but we can’t wait to go back for more! Highly recommend The Inn at Fox Hill Farm!

“Quiet and relaxing vacation stay!”
If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing environment, this place is for you, This B&B cottage is located in the quiet part of CT. and the back deck overlooks a beautiful serene pond and the perfect place for morning coffee or an adult beverage later in the day.
It is located on a scenic byway that is worth the 30 odd mile drive through rural and well manicured landscapes. We even made a pit stop into the casino in Norwich which was only 50 odd minutes away just to mix things up a bit. There are some wonderful restaurants within 10 - 15 minutes nearby which was somewhat surprising because of the rural environment of the area.
Nick, the host is a charming man and was a delight to deal with and yes, he's one hellava cook, providing cook to order breakfasts to start your day. My wife and I actually invited him to stay a bit and asked him to tell us about his life story which was quite fascinating to say the least.
It is without reservation that we recommend this location and this host!!!

Our stay at The Inn at Fox Hill Farm in Pomfret, Connecticut was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beauty and peacefulness of the property. It is a lovely place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the charm of the Connecticut countryside.
The inn has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and at home. The setting is beautiful, and there is a wonderful sense of tranquility throughout the property. It is the kind of place where you can slow down and genuinely enjoy your surroundings.
The hospitality was exceptional, and the attention to detail made our stay especially enjoyable. Everything about the experience felt thoughtful and personal, creating the perfect combination of comfort, charm, and relaxation.
The Inn at Fox Hill Farm is a true gem in Pomfret, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return in the future. It is easy to see why this lovely inn leaves such a lasting impression on its guests.

The Cottage has a quaint historic feel, yet is completely up to date and presented with every nicety - from a very comfortable bed, to wi-fi and plug in for an electric vehicle, and even ice cream bars in the freezer. The view is heltered with trees , the soundscape is filled with birds, and the breeze is alive with fragrance. The food is beyond compare.

“A safe and relaxing get-away from home.”
My wife and I are from California, after flying into Albany we deciding to travel from New York down to Virginia by car. This cottage was one of the places we stayed at, and I am glad we found it. The location is excellent. Beautiful view, with a fire that kept us warm was perfect. Nick was so polite and hospitable. He made us breakfast and provided all the needs we requested. We mainly stay at hotels when we travel, but this cottage was a breath of fresh air. We would definitely stay here again if we were in this area. Thank you Nick!

My husband and I stayed here for the night. It was a quaint little cottage, so cozy and homie. The owner Nick had thought of everything from snacks drinks and all the little things that you-never think of. It was a nice break from reality with beautiful views. Looking forward to going back in the summer to really enjoy the beauty of it. Nick was a sweetheart. He met us outside and walked us through the cottage.He even made breakfast the next morning ..sometimes the simplest of times are the best of times. Thank you for everything Nick!
