"LOVED my stay at peRch'D! Watching day turn to night and then dawn again through a leafy canopy was just magical. I arrived at the tail end of rains in the area, but that only made the experience better - the petrichor was so refreshing.
The treehouse is indeed perched on the edge of a steep hillside. The structure is beautifully constructed to maximize views. I wish I could’ve spent more than a night and stayed right up until my extended check out time (thank you, Regina & Damian!)
If you’re looking for a quiet reset (to sounds of the stream below) and a lovely linger in the woods, but sure to reserve a night - or two, or more!
BTW, camping toilet was easy to use and a luxury step above primitive camping (yea! padded seat!) The bistro lights are helpful for night runs, and perfect otherwise to accent the evening. And the folding mattress was very comfortable under my sleeping bag.
Host communication was timely and very pleasant 🙂. I hope to return very soon!"
