All week long, Eagles, Eagles, Eagles. The juveniles are practicing hunting and flying. Because we’re 140 feet off the ocean they tend to fly by at eye level. They engage in “branching” (jumping/hopping between branches), wing-flapping, and hovering to strengthen muscles, along with practicing talon-dropping and hunting techniques to become independent.
