🚨 Beach Permit Update:

Corpus Christi City Council voted 5-4 today to raise the annual beach parking pass from $12 to $20—the first fee increase since 2002.
​City staff say higher costs for maintenance and beach safety forced the change, though some council members voiced strong concerns about the impact on local working families. State law requires one flat fee for both locals and visitors alike.
​The proposal now heads to the Texas General Land Office for final review and approval before taking effect January 2027.

Also just to add as a reminder - there is free parking available at the Windward Parking Lot right off of the Michael J Ellis Seawall 🧡
