In Port Aransas, October means autumnal events happening every weekend, a time the island likes to call "Beachtober!" These events range from a weekend of live music kicking off with a Landsharks concert to the Wooden Boat Festival, a celebration of the historical Farley Boat Works.

We are sliding into the best time of the year for the beach!!

Sometimes you just need a dose of beach — the sound of the waves, a glance at the color of the water, or a live look to plan your trip. If you’re anything like me, you probably check the Port A webcams before every trip… and sometimes just when you need a quick beach fix.

These are the best live webcams around Port Aransas so you can check the waves, the crowds, and the weather in real time ☀️ → https://portaransastex.com/port-aransas-live-webcams/

🐚 Seas Sounds is ready for you!

We have spent the past 3 days deep cleaning and making improvements to better your stay. We added new blankets and pillows, steam cleaned the couches and rug, and even have some new dishes!

🏝️It’s the end of summer so the island is calming down which makes it the perfect time to visit. Enjoy less crowded beaches and short/no waits at restaurants. If you haven’t spent a fall weekned in Port A you are missing out!

As always, feel free to reach out directly to book with us to save on fees.

As of May 19th, 408 Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtle nests and 1 Green Sea Turtle nest have been confirmed on the Texas coast for the 2026 sea turtle nesting season!

This year is shaping up to be another record-breaking year and nesting for Kemp's Ridleys can continue to mid-July!

Through years of dedication and hard work and successful practices developed by Dr Donna Shaver and team at Padre Island National Seashore, along with multiple other partners, Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtle numbers continue to increase on Texas beaches. Nests left on the beach are subject to predation, flooding, damage from vehicles and beach grading equipment, and many other threats! It's crucial that each nest is documented and located as well as gathering data from nesting females to better understand the species! Please report all nesting sea turtles, turtle tracks, or hatchlings to 1-866-TURTLE-5 as soon as possible!
