The Texas Commercial Fishing Guide has undergone a revamp! 🎣💻 Check it out at 🔗 tpwd.texas.gov/commfish

To make the fishing guide more user-friendly, it’s gone all digital in a PDF format, making it easy to download and print pages as needed.

The revamped commercial fishing guide includes exciting updates, such as:

✔ Tables with notes that help determine which TPWD license(s) or permit(s) are needed for certain commercial fishing activities

✔ Detailed regulations around species/license type, season(s), location(s), bag limits, length limits, and approved devices or methods of harvest

✔ Hyper-linked text with helpful websites

✔ An active table of contents, allowing users to quickly jump to sections

✔ A bookmarks tab, making it easier to navigate between sections in the document

Nice catch!

Fish Friday: Todd Ohlde of Linn, Kan., came back with a nice catch from a 60-hour trip on Thursday, April 10. His catch included yellowfin tuna, queen snapper and tilefish. He was aboard the S**t Cat out of Fisherman’s Wharf with Capt. Justin Giles. (Staff photo by Alex Berksan.)

This photo ran in the April 17 edition of the South Jetty newspaper. The South Jetty provides coverage of the local fishing scene and lots of other Port Aransas community issues every week. The paper is available at stores all over town and can be found online at www.portasouthjetty.com.

Coconut shrimp amazing!! Drinks perfect!! Dessert was so so good!! Great vibe .. no wait at the bar. Bar staff made the whole experience perfect. Great smiles Great attitudes perfect service. I was just so happy to see that amazing perfect service still exists and it's at FINS in the bar section outside.
