As head Mom-in-Charge, let’s go over some rules 😎

1. You must be 25 to rent the boat.

2. If you’re between 25 and 33 (this year), you must complete Boaters Ed.

3. In order to operate the boat, you must have no impaired driving arrest for 3 years.

4. You are driving the boat. If you have never driven a boat, please consider a different option for your Port A Boat Day experience 🫣
BUT! 🤩
•We offer a guide with on-board tips for driving, navigating, and anchoring your boat for a float experience in the cove. Then the guide heads out.
•If you want a captain, the passenger limit is six and subject to the captain’s availability.

5. Bay travel only. No Gulf.

6. We have 1 boat that allows fishing. It is not a fishing boat, but a boat on which you can fish.

7. A full tank of gas is included. The only after-rental payments would be a (greatly appreciated) tip for your crew or if any damages or towing occurred during your rental. Now, if you use an entire tank of gas 😳, the second one is on you 😎

Our boats are primarily for lounging and cruising, laughing and schmoozing, picture taking and memory making. A place to gather away from the crowds.

In observance of National 🏖️Clean Beaches Week, July 1-7, we invite you to join us in preserving the beauty of our beaches.

Please take a moment to collect trash in a yellow bag. They can be found in the blue bins along the beach.

Volunteers are needed to ensure these blue bins are filled. www.kpab.org

When we started Salty Island Waves, we hoped to build more than a golf cart rental business. We wanted to be a small part of the memories families make here on our beautiful island.

Because of all of you, we’re honored to say that we are completely SOLD OUT for the 4th of July.

We truly don’t take your support for granted. Every reservation, every recommendation, every share, and every kind word has helped our small, family-owned business grow. It means more to us than we could ever put into words.

Knowing that our carts will be part of your beach days, family adventures, fireworks, laughter, and lifelong memories is the greatest compliment we could ever receive.
