10/10/2026 update on Kite Fest!
๐ช FALL KITE FEST UPDATE ๐ช
10/10/26 8:20am: Weโve been getting lots of calls and messages, so we wanted to share another update on this weekendโs flying conditions for Fly It Port A's 2026 Fall Kite Fest.
Unfortunately, things arenโt looking great for kite flying this morning. The wind is predicted to stay pretty light until later today, and high tides overnight have left much of the flying area under water. Weโre still keeping our fingers crossed that conditions improve!
The good news? The kiters are here and ready to fly! Theyโll do their best to get their kites in the air whenever conditions allow.
๐ช Team KiteLife - TKL is still planning to fly their stunt kites throughout the day! Look for them near beach marker 18. Be sure to stop by and watch if conditions cooperate.
๐ฌ๏ธ Weโre also hopeful that tomorrow will bring better flying conditions, so thereโs still plenty to look forward to this weekend.
