Sara chose this star block for her, Sew Fun Saturday, BOM. It is a red, white, and blue scrappy block. This is one of the BOM’s used in our club (El Campo Casual Quilters). The block is “Criss-Cross Star” from Lori Holt’s “Scrappiness is Happiness.“Each of us made her a block with her furnishing the background fabric.

Sew Fun Saturday is doing A Block of the Month project.
Each month we draw for the recipient. The person drawn chooses the pattern and colors and all others make one or two blocks (depending on size) that are expected by the next month. The blocks are finished for a darling quilt. Kathy was the first recipient and her quilt is finished for a gift. It is so sweet.
