☀️ Beach days are picking up in Gulf County

As we head into our busy beach season, here’s one simple reminder that makes a BIG difference for wildlife, visitors, and our shoreline:

Before leaving the beach:
✔ Fill in holes
✔ Knock down sand structures
✔ Pack out what you bring in

These small steps help protect:
🐢 Sea turtles
🚶 Beachgoers
🚑 Emergency vehicles
🌊 Our natural shoreline

Sea turtle season is here on the Cape 🐢

From now through October, our beaches are home to nesting moms and tiny hatchlings trying to make their way to the water. It’s one of the coolest things to witness… and one of the easiest to accidentally mess up.

A few simple things make a BIG difference:
keep it dark, clean up your spot, and give nests their space.
