Catherine Shand was kind enough to share the story behind this AMAZING pic on Cape San Blas:
“We saw a small pod of dolphins swimming a fair distance out. My dog Echo saw them and started to swim out to them. I called him back as he was going out too far. And a minute later a dolphin swam in and then this happened. It was a beautiful site. They both just swam at a leisurely pace. Echo never barked or tried to get too close; just enjoyed swimming with a new friend. It is a memory I hold very dear and was so glad I had my camera with me that day.”

"I have been thinking about this. First it was the sunny skies. And simplicity. (Then we got Amazon so….)
Now, it’s all the surprises. Like a weird weather thing - like a fog bow.
Or an animal sighting- like the bobcat or dolphin jumping.
Or the whacky thing you learn from a snowbird friend about something in northern Minnesota. Or that you actually have a whacky friend from Minnesota or Ontario or??
And of course, all the fun that the dogs have. There’s just a lot of joy."
