Port Washington wasn’t made to be rushed ☀️ 🌊

Walk the harbor. Head out on a Lake Michigan fishing charter. Make your way to the breakwater lighthouse. Wander the shops and restaurants downtown. Take in the views from Upper Lake Park, hit the Ozaukee Interurban Trail, or venture just outside town for the trails and bluffs at Lion’s Den Gorge. There’s a lot waiting along this stretch of Lake Michigan.

And when one day starts feeling a little too short? Stay the extra night at The Harborview and pick up where you left off tomorrow.

Port Washington has more than a day trip’s worth of exploring.

A comfy room, Lake Michigan right outside your window, and breakfast waiting downstairs at The Beacon. We may not technically be a bed & breakfast, but we’ve got the important parts covered.

Add in an indoor pool and hot tub, a walkable downtown Port Washington location, and plenty to explore along the lakefront, and you’ve got all the makings of a pretty good morning - and an even better getaway ✨

Hit the trails at Lion’s Den, wander Coal Dock Park, shop your way down Main Street and squeeze in a little beach time while the Wisconsin weather is still cooperating!
