A terrific review! 😍🎶

“J’aime’s place was flat out one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in. One expects a place to be spotlessly clean, with comfy beds and good location. Check. J’aime takes it to another level. Coffee, half and half and croissants provided (you can bake them yourself in the morning). The kitchen is stocked with high quality tools and utensils, like a vegetable juicer, Cuisinart, etc. Good quality pots and pans, and plenty of them. As is probably obvious, I’m a foodie and really appreciate these things 😊.

Beautiful neighborhood, too. There are tasteful and original art pieces by her and her partner on the walls (and even the throw pillows!). My brother in law lives in Portland and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful stay!”

"This is a wonderful find — such friendly & gracious hosts, and such a clean, spacious and tastefully decorated space. The little gated patio is lovely this time of year and very secure. The kitchen is full-sized and well-stocked with many thoughtful extras. The beautiful tree-lined location can’t be beat — in walking distance to Reed College and a short hop to Woodstock and Sellwood with lots of nearby restaurants, Trader Joe’s, New Seasons and Safeway.

Thanks again J’aime & Winky for being my home away from home during this tough week. I felt like I was visiting old friends and your space is so welcoming. Looking forward to my next visit!”

The guest house is a great place for an extended stay! It is well equipped, immaculately clean, and comfortable. My wife and I have now stayed there twice for extended periods, enjoying it as a place to cocoon and a base from which to explore. It is in a lovely neighborhood for walking, with parks and the Reed College campus nearby. The grocery store run generally requires a car, as there is not a nearby main transit line. With a car every possible amenity is convenient. J'aime is an excellent host!

Absolutely beautiful, this is most definitely a luscious retreat! We stayed in late Autumn and the fireplace kept us cozy, the kitchen was totally outfitted to allow us to cook, the bedroom is spacious and the linens are the finest. The bathroom is perfect! The host J'Aime thinks of everything. There are many parks to walk and great restaurants are plentiful. We will be booking again soon.

Dear J'aime and Winky, We absolutely loved our stay at your Guesthouse. Thank you for creating such a restful, welcoming and beautiful place. We enjoyed every moment of our stay there and look forward to being able to visit again, perhaps in the Spring or Summer when we can enjoy the patio. However, the fireplace heater kept us cozy so its a toss up! C & K

Another great review from a recent guest! Thinking about a lovely and safe place in Portland to visit this winter?

"This is an awesome airbnb if you can reserve it! The thoughtfulness and hospitality displayed by Winky and J'aime can be seen everywhere in the airbnb The space is really spacious, clean, cute, and thoughtfully decorated (very homey) - even the bathroom is super clean ! There are a lot of cooking gadgets (coffee maker, water kettle, juicer, blender, food processor, toaster oven, rice cooker, wood cutting boards just to name a few) in the kitchen and most of the things you need for cooking Plenty of utensils, places, cups, wine glasses, etc. Very nice gesture for J'aime/Winky to ask about how we take our coffee and found out that there's a bottle of almond milk waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived - very thoughtful. They also provide these amazing Trader Joe's frozen croissants (almond and chocolate flavors) and coffee so you don't need to leave the airbnb to find breakfast. There is also washer and dryer in the bathroom room which had been super helpful since there are a lot of outdoor activities in Portland you can do and with the continued Covid situation - it was nice to be able to clean our clothes before putting them back in the luggage. The bed is comfy and sheets are clean. They provided robes in the closet for the guests. There is no AC which I think is normal for Portland houses, the place stayed cool for the most part - Portland did get hot one night but wasn't uncomfortable. There is a fan in the living room too (didn't get to use it as we noticed it a bit later). There is a longer mirror behind the bedroom door that we later noticed so make sure you find it. The TV has full cable and Netflix if you decide to stay in and watch Netflix. The sofa was comfy as well. Also, make sure to read the black binder as it provides a lot of tips and tricks for the place and places to see and eat around the area. The 5 star reviews keep consistently coming!

The East Moreland Guest House was perfect for a week long stay. A private entrance meant we could come and go without bothering anyone, and we could cook whatever we wanted with the full kitchen. Everything was clean and incredibly cozy. We would definitely recommend this location for your stay in Portland!
