Moxy is the newest bold + distinctive lifestyle hotel playing soon in Downtown Portland. To revolutionize the category requires a lot of moxie, so we are seeking front desk specialists ready, eager , and willing, to take on just a bit more. Please read on, and read thoroughly.

We know you wouldn’t wear a stiff uniform, so we don’t have any. We’re looking for front of house Crew Members who love doing it all. The Moxy Crew role consists of being a Welcome Agent, Bartender, Food and Kitchen Services, checking guests in and out, answering phones, and being the best point of contact for our fun-hunters, which is what we call our guests. This role is best suited for individuals who have great style, are quick on their feet, and know what’s happening around town.
Are you bold, thoughtful, spirited and fun? Being a Moxy Crew Member means more than providing the hookup to guests with extra towels. We’re looking for a crew who:
Love doing it all

Driving our guest service scores on all platforms
The ideal Crew Member will be self-motivated, and outgoing with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle anything that comes their way.
Here are some of the key expectations for our Crewmembers:
Doing it all means you’ll be trained in bartending, food service, kitchen, and hotel desk operations – all of which will be handled right at our bar!
Deliver services within the Moxy Brand Voice, culture and style.
Takes things into perspective, where some see obstacles, you should see opportunities.
Managing time between the bar and the desk operations. We can’t have one without the other!
Owns every moment, every reservation, every negotiation, every experiential consideration, every guest experience to the fullest.
Reliably and accurately operate property management systems, point of sale system and all of their different components.
Maintain a safe, clean and organized working environment.
Provide awesome service to our fun-hunters, and communicate with the rest of the crew and management clearly and efficiently.
Complete all shift-activities to make sure we can continue to deliver that awesome Moxy service!
Handle any additional tasks requested or required by management.
Desirable Credentials:
Hotel front office background and/or background in Beverage and Food
Creative background.
Social media knowledge and experience.
Working with in a nonconforming team, or in a Lifestyle brand.
