The Portland
Miniature Show is off and running!! Saturday was terrific, my best Saturday ever! So we will see what today brings. It is so much fun seeing old friends and making new ones! So many creative, talented artists!!

Getting ready for the Portland Miniature Flea Market next Saturday. Purge #1 of my workspace. More to come!! The market is being held at the Monarch Hotel in Clackamas, the same hotel that hosts the Portland Show. Doors open at 9:30 am. See you there!!

Shows are all done until spring, so I am finally able to get some work done for me! My sister gave me this house at least 2 years ago and I haven’t touched it. So now I have taken out the doors and windows, ripped out the moldings, and am about to begin sanding and then putting up wallpaper. These are some of the papers I have chosen so far. The papers I am going to use are on the floors. The papers on the walls are going to be covered.

Couldn’t find a molding to go with the wallpaper I printed out, so I made my own! I think it will look great! Thanks Pinterest and my handy printer!

Finally finished the dozen side tables I have been working on for a couple of days. Some will be decorated and some will be left as is for others to decorate as they wish. Trying to build up inventory for Denver in September and Portland in October. I have been charging $10 for the undecorated and $17 for decorated ones. What do you all think? Ok price? Too high? Too low? I have a really hard time with pricing!!!

Felt a little creative today, so made a new style of potting bench. I will leave some unfinished and finish some. Will see how they go over.
