Milking of the cows occurs twice a day, every day at 6:00-8:00 am and 4:30-6:30

pm. All of our guests are cordially invited to wander over to meet owner Louis & his wife Jane, all the farm hands, as well as the cows, heifers and calves! During the months of September & October, you can visit our Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch! Escobar's Farmhouse Inn is owned by Jane and Louis Escobar, and run by Innkeeper Dawn. The inn is located across the street from Escobar's Highland Farm, one of Rhode Island's few remaining dairy farms. The Farm was acquired by Louis' father in 1937. The Inn has always been a dream for Jane, and she has worked diligently for several years to create a comfortable "home away from home" for her guests. Each of the four rooms are named for Louis and Jane's parents, Tony and Mary Escobar, and Walter and Katherine Rzegocki.

Our Story

A beautiful Country Inn offering hometown hospitality & tranquility to our guests.

A restored turn of the century farmhouse, which once served as the fellowship hall and classrooms of The Founder's Memorial Baptist Church from 1959 until 2001. The adjacent building on the property originally served as a barn and was converted into a sanctuary. The house, church and land were purchased by Louis & Jane Escobar in 2001 and fully renovated to function as an Inn during 2009. Our door was graciously opened to the public in June of 2010.

Our four guestrooms are unique from each other and all offer private baths.

The Innkeeper Dawn, who is a native of Portsmouth with strong family roots, will greet you with warmth and unparalleled knowledge of the local landscape.
