Spooktacular news, campers and neighbors! 🎃✨ Sunken Lake Campground is hosting a Trick-or-Treat event on October 3rd at 6:00 PM for both our campers and the public.

* Date: Saturday, October 3rd

* Who: Campers & Public

👻 How to Join

* Campers: Decorate your site and hand out treats.
* Public: Put on your favorite costume and join the trick-or-treating fun!

🚗 Parking & Safety

* Public Parking: Park at the top of the hill or in the visitor parking at the bottom of the hill.
* Campground Blocked: The campground will be blocked off once trick-or-treat starts to keep our kiddos safe. No driving inside will be permitted during the event.

Labor Day Weekend Plans? We’ve Got You Covered! 🎸

Join us Sunday September 6, 2026 at Sunken Lake Park Campground for an awesome night of live music and food! This event is FREE and open to the public!

We are excited to welcome The Country Poor Boys, rocking out all the way from Hillman, Michigan! We will also be serving free hot dogs, chips, pop, and water during the event.Bring your camp chairs and blankets down to the main campground area!

Keeping cool and making memories! 💦 Here are highlights from yesterday's 4th of July water games. All the kiddos had an absolute blast facing off in our sponge races, bucket races, and water balloon toss! The best part? Everyone walked away a winner and got their very own sq**rt gun at the end of the games! Thank you to our awesome camp families for making this summer so much fun. ☀️😎

Our campers sure know how to celebrate! 🇺🇸 We had the absolute best time during our 4th of July Bike Parade yesterday. The kids did an incredible job decorating their bikes at the park before lining up to ride. It was so tough to choose, but we picked three lucky winners to take home a special prize! Thank you to all the kids who participated and brought so much holiday spirit to Sunken Lake Park. 🚲✨

Better late than never! 🎨 We’ve been having so much fun with our campers that we got a little behind on our Facebook updates. A couple of weeks ago our Sunken Lake Park kids did an amazing job rock painting and creating mason jar lanterns! We also did a movie night! Check out these photos of their beautiful creations. Thank you to all our creative little campers who joined in the fun! 🌲✨

Our Sunken Lake Campground event lineup for the season is officially here! These fun activities are exclusively for our registered camp guests.

The only exception is our annual Trick or Treat happening in October, which is open to the community!

We look forward to seeing everyone!

CAMPING SEASON IS HERE!!!!

- Hoping to see you this year! Here at Sunken Lake Park are some new updates.

- New playground equipment in the campground and day use area.

- New basketball court in campground.

- 1.75 miles of walking trails.

Hello All!! Spring is almost here cannot wait to see everyone May 15, 2026.

On a side note I want to say last season around the middle of August a long haired black cat showed up at the house. We have been feeding it and keeping it warm. Very friendly kitty. I am wondering if anyone living some what close to Sunken Lake Park is missing their cat? When she first came around she was well groomed and smelled like she was taking care of. Thank you!
