• Stage the bed like a hotel: layered bedding, plump pillows, and a neatly folded throw.
• Keep countertops nearly bare. One or two intentional styling pieces feel welcoming; clutter does not.
• Clean what the camera catches: windows, mirrors, stainless steel, light fixtures, baseboards, and vents.
• Remove personal items and visual clutter before photographing the space.
• Let your location influence the design. Local textures, colors, and artwork help the rental feel like a place, not a generic property.
• Take fresh photos in natural daylight. Old photos can undersell an improved space.
