Our original post somehow got deleted, but this is something so near and dear to our hearts that we couldn't help but share it again!

Our entire team at Long Lake Resort is incredibly excited about this ministry and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.

If you haven't heard about Sparrow, we'd love to tell you a little about it. 🤍

Sparrow is a ministry built around caring for people during seasons when life feels especially heavy. Whether someone has experienced a traumatic situation, is walking through a difficult season, or simply needs a little extra help, we want to be a place where they can find rest.

Through the generosity of our donors, we're able to provide short stays at Long Lake Resort for individuals and families who need a chance to step away from the busyness and chaos of everyday life.

Our heart behind Sparrow is simple. We want people to feel seen, loved, cared for, and reminded that they are never alone, even in life's hardest seasons.

The inspiration behind this ministry comes from Luke 12:6-7 (KJV):

"Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows."

What a beautiful reminder that not even the smallest sparrow is forgotten by God. And neither are you. 🤍

As we continue this journey, we ask that you please keep our Sparrow ministry covered in prayer. Pray for the individuals and families we have the opportunity to serve, for the generous hearts who help make this possible, and for God to continue guiding us as we grow this ministry.
We don't know every life Sparrow will touch, but we trust that God has a purpose for every door He opens.
