Rocky Shores just 15 minutes from the lake house.

Adventure awaits on the shores of Lake Texoma! Explore trails along high bluffs, splash at our sandy swimming cove, or fish for striped bass, crappie and catfish. Connect to nature just an hour north of Dallas.

Things to Do
Walk or bike more than four miles of trails. Find places to swim, boulder, geocache or picnic along the shore­line. Play horseshoes or enjoy a push on the swings. Look for native Texas wildflowers and for fossils left from an ancient ocean. (Remember: Take only photographs and leave only footprints.)

Fish from one of our two fishing piers or from the shoreline. Fish into the night at the lighted fishing pier. We also have a fish cleaning station and a boat ramp with a courtesy dock.

No fishing license is required when you fish from shore in a Texas state park!
