🌨 Winter Weather Update

We wanted to share a quick update...

We’re pleased to report that Docks A, B, and C remain intact and afloat, and power is still on. While visual inspections indicate the dock structures are holding up well, conditions remain very slick, and it is still unsafe to access the docks at this time. Please do not access the docks until further notice.

Our team continues working carefully to remove snow and ice where conditions allow and is closely monitoring the marina. We feel incredibly fortunate, especially as this storm caused significant damage across Lake Texoma and many other marinas, ranches, businesses, and communities. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who experienced greater impacts.

Thank you for your patience, support, and understanding. We’ll continue to share updates as conditions change. 💙

❄️ Winter Weather Update ❄️

Like much of Lake Texoma, we’ve been dealing with the effects of sleet and freezing rain during this winter blast. At this time, Docks A, B, and C are carrying extra weight from the ice accumulation, but they are still floating and hanging in there (doing what docks do best 😉).

Our staff and dedicated volunteers have been working nonstop to help relieve some of the weight where it is safe to do so, and we continue to closely monitor conditions. Overall, we’ve fared better than many marinas around the lake, and we’re very grateful for that. 🤞🏼🙏🏼

We unfortunately lost Boathouses 1 and 3, which had already been decommissioned due to prior damage. We are especially saddened by the loss of historic Boathouse #1, the first and oldest dock at Flowing Wells, dating back to when the property was known as Flowing Wells Camp. While it’s bittersweet to see it go, we’re grateful for the many years of memories it provided to our lake community. 💙

⚠️ For the safety of our staff and customers, please do not come to the marina at this time. Conditions remain slick and unsafe, and access to the docks should be avoided until temperatures improve and structures return to normal levels.

A huge thank you to our incredible staff and volunteers who have braved the frigid temperatures to help keep things secure and stable during this storm. We also sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience, support, and understanding. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the marinas and lake communities affected by this winter weather. Safety remains our top priority, and we’ll continue to share updates as conditions change. 💙
