This is a long message about all of the events, so stay with me!

The Kerosene Drifters will be playing at the pavilion from 8 PM to 11 PM Saturday night. You may have seen them at the George Tavern, and they are playing at the Rythm and Rails music festival in Denison, September 12. I hope you enjoy them!

 For the co****le tournament, you can either sign up by clicking the below link on Scoreholio or, sign up in person from 9:30 to 10:45 Sunday morning. At 10:45 teams will be chosen and games starting at 11:00 am.
Medals will go to the first and second place winners.

If you would like to enter a cobbler in the competition, either text Lisa at 214.673.0497 with your name, lot number, and what type of cobbler it is. Or, have it at the pavilion at 5:45 sharp. Judging will begin at 5:45. 
First and second place trophies will be given.

Dinner will be around six-ish. The club is providing smoked pork sausages, and condiments. Please bring a side dish.

Onsite registration will open at 9:30 AM the day of the tournament, but will end at 10:45. At that time we will random draw for 2 person teams, get the brackets and court assignments set then start playing at 11:00. I will enter the game scores through Scoreholio, where the bracket can be viewed and shared as well.

Join us Labor Day weekend for the festivities!
Also, change of game plan for the Italian pot luck/open board meeting/meet the candidates.
Due to a conflict in 2 board members schedules, this event needs to be rescheduled from 9/19 to 9/26.
Since I will be out of town the 26th, we will just cancel the Italian pot luck, and proceed with the Open board meeting at 7:00 pm.

Busy and fun 4th weekend!
I hope you enjoyed TNT and the Smokin Horn Section. They enjoyed playing for us.
There were 27 carts in the parade. The winner was Mullen. Definitely the most enthusiastic!
There were 4 Patriotic dish entrees. The winner was Lori Anderson.
Thank you Wade VonBergen for leading the parade, I appreciate you!
The next event will be September 5th, when Kerosene Drifters play for Labor Day.
September 6th is the Corn hole tournament, Cobbler competition and Pot luck.

Join us this weekend for 4th of July!
Friday, July 3rd is TNT and the Smokin’ Horn section from 8 - 11 pm.
Saturday at 11:00 am is the golf cart parade.
Shortly after that is the Patriotic Dish contest!
Have your dishes at the pavilion at 11:45 to be judged.
Lunch will follow around noon. The club will provide corn dogs and turkey sliders.
Please bring a side dish.
THEN, win a prize playing “Patriotic Finish the Lyrics”. This should be fun.

Reminder of 4th of July events.
Correction to the starting time of the band. They will play from 8:00 through 11:00.
Come meet Tina the lead singer! She is so fun and the band is looking forward to being here. 🙂

It was a fantastic Memorial Day weekend!
From the dock party, to the band, to the yummy dinner, to BINGO!
Thank you Deb Waters for the great music for the dock party. It was good to see everyone.
There was a FULL house watching Love Handle Saturday night! I have never seen that many people in the pavilion watching a band, so glad everyone enjoyed them. They love playing at our club. Thanks Tom Form for introducing them to me last year. 🙂
Thank you to Mark Kuneman for smoking the pork for our slider’s Sunday night, and of course everyone who brought sides.
Bingo was also a big hit last night! Lots of great prizes and they are all gone! Special thanks to Dan and Margo Standley for being great MC’s. And to Kim Pulliam and Tori McConnell for helping me with the crazy prize table. I appreciate you!
The next event is July 3rd. I have a a new band coming to the club, TNT and the Smokin’ Horn section. They play at The George and Bloopers in Denison frequently, and just played at the Sherman Food truck competition. I hope you enjoy them.
Then July 4th will be the 4th of July golf cart parade, Patriotic dish contest, followed by pot luck lunch.
