We’ve shared an updated statement from Marina Ownership regarding the assessment of the recent storm damage and next steps across our marinas.

We know many of you are wondering what is to come in the next few weeks and months following the recent storm damage and we want to share the latest information.

Last week, we met on-site with our insurance representatives and construction experts to review conditions throughout the marina.

Together, we conducted a detailed walkthrough of every boathouse and slip to evaluate structural impacts and determine the safest path forward.

We are now awaiting their formal assessments, which we expect to receive within the next one to two weeks. Once those evaluations are complete, we will begin contacting customers directly whose slips may be affected by repairs, reconstruction work, or potential demolition.

In the meantime, please know that our focus remains on safety, stabilization, and planning the most responsible way to move forward.

We understand that many of you are already thinking about getting back on the water this Spring, and how important clarity and communication are during this process.

We will continue to share updates as soon as new information becomes available.

We’ve shared an official statement from Marina Ownership regarding recent storm impacts and next steps across our marinas. Please review the full message below.

At this time, all docks are floating back in their normal positions, which is a positive step forward. However, we did experience significant roof damage to Boathouse 10, damage to two slips on Boathouse 20, and substantial damage to the end of Boathouse 2. Our team is continuing to monitor these areas closely as we await the next phase of repairs.

Please know that we are doing everything we can to mitigate further damage to the boathouses and to our customers’ boats. Our crew has been working continuously since the storm to stabilize conditions and prepare for the next steps.

On Thursday and Friday of next week, we will have dock construction experts, our dock manufacturing company, and insurance representatives on site to tour and evaluate all boathouses. Their goal is to determine which structures can be repaired and which may need to be removed due to safety concerns. A repair plan is already in motion, and these evaluations will help finalize timelines and next actions.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we move carefully and thoughtfully through this process.

As warmer temperatures continue to help break up the ice across the marina, we’re seeing gradual improvements in overall conditions.

Ice across the marina has begun melting, and most boathouses have either returned to their normal position or are expected to do so today. Boathouse 2 has improved considerably, though it is still not accessible at this time.

Boathouse 10 remains closed to access due to significant roof damage. This restriction is in place for everyone’s safety.

Boathouse 20 has come up some, but is also still not accessible as of today.

We have had a few jet skis come off their ports; all have been secured, and owners will be notified directly.

Our team continues to monitor conditions and perform inspections as safely and efficiently as possible. We appreciate everyone’s patience, especially as staffing has been limited this week while we work through ongoing checks and communications.

Additional updates will be shared as access improves and more assessments are completed.
