That’s a wrap on Driftless Summer 2026! Camp #6 ended on a high note and was a great group to close out an incredible month.

We’d like to thank every wrestler and family who attended Driftless this summer, along with every family member, friend, and supporter who followed the journey from afar. We hope the photos and videos from camp brought you joy and helped preserve memories that will last for years to come.

A special thank you to the Mckenna family for hosting us once again. Your generosity and kindness have made an immeasurable impact on so many young athletes and helped grow a passion for the sport of wrestling that will last a lifetime.

Day 2 of Driftless Camp #6 was a busy one!

We welcomed NCAA Champion and Penn State standout Mark Hall to the ranch. Mark taught his signature elbow bind series into his trademark duck-under and a variety of attacks. In the evening session, he reviewed the technique before putting the kids through a college-style drill practice and finishing with live wrestling.

Mark was incredible with the campers, taking time for a Q&A where he answered questions about his mindset, nutrition, career highlights, and what it was like competing at Penn State.

Can’t say enough about this group’s grit. They showed up all day, stayed locked in through the heat, and kept getting better every session.

The final day of our final camp is here, and we’re ready to finish this summer the right way.

Huge congratulations to Driftless alum Ivan Baulovic on being named USA Wrestling Athlete of the Week! 🏆

Ivan joined us at our second camp just a couple of weeks ago, and it’s been awesome watching him continue to dominate on the national stage. Congratulations to Ivan and the entire Baulovic family on this incredible accomplishment. We’re proud of you! 💪

Last camp of the summer is officially underway! 🌅

This middle school group showed up ready to work on day one. They battled through the heat, put together two great practices, and brought awesome energy all day long.

We opened with our cross-wrist tilt series before lunch, then finished the wrestling day with live situations and plenty of live matches.

After training, it was Taco Tuesday back at the lodge before wrapping up the night with our signature Driftless s’mores, games around the ranch, and an epic football game.

This crew has already embraced the Driftless spirit, and we can’t wait to welcome NCAA Champion and 6x Minnesota State Champion Mark Hall for Day 2. Back to the ranch. 🌅

Camp #5 at Driftless is officially in the books!

This camp featured Iowa Hawkeye All-American Angelo Ferrari and Oklahoma Sooners Head Assistant Coach Cam Sykora. These guys put on incredible sessions that our campers soaked up. It was a great balance of high-level technique and baseline drilling with a strong emphasis on position and pressure.

We wrapped up the final day with another great practice led by Coach Cam and UW Badger Lane Robinson before heading back to the lodge to relax and get ready for pickup. The wrestlers finished camp with an ice cream bar and pizza party after three days of hard work.

One of our favorite parts of every camp is getting to meet and spend time with our campers’ families at pickup. Thank you for trusting us with your wrestlers.

Day 2 was a busy one for this group! We welcomed Oklahoma Sooners Head Assistant Coach Cam Sykora to the ranch, and he absolutely delivered. Cam taught his signature wrist tilt series while emphasizing the importance of forward pressure, positioning, and the small details that make a big difference. It’s always impressive to see a young coach with that level of knowledge, confidence, and perspective.

Between sessions, the campers enjoyed some pool time before getting back on the mats. We wrapped up practice with hard live wrestling, putting Cam’s wrist control series to work before finishing with straight matches. The evening ended with our staple pasta night featuring chicken Alfredo and spaghetti before everyone headed to the movie theater to watch Surf’s Up.

This group continues to work hard, have fun, and make the most of every moment together. On to Day 3! Back to the ranch. 🤠💪

Camp #5 is officially underway!

Day 1 brought Iowa Hawkeye All-American Angelo Ferrari to the ranch, and he delivered in a big way. Angelo led two high-level sessions, teaching the techniques, drills, and mindset that helped make him the nation’s #1 pound-for-pound recruit out of high school and one of the top wrestlers in the country today.

What stood out even more was the time he spent with every wrestler. He stayed after sessions to answer questions and shared valuable insight on wrestling, nutrition, discipline, toughness, and what it takes to compete at the highest level.

We wrapped up the day with live wrestling before heading back to the lodge for taco night and another beautiful Driftless s’mores night. Awesome group of wrestlers, and we’re excited for what’s in store on Day 2.

Camp #4 featuring Aeoden Sinclair is a wrap! What an incredible group of wrestlers. We can’t say enough about these athletes and their families. Every camper worked hard, competed the right way, and represented themselves with class both on and off the mat. It was a respectful, coachable, hard-working group of teenagers, and we truly appreciate the parents who helped shape them.

We wrapped up the final couple of days with plenty of wrestling, reviewing Aeoden’s series on the feet while adding new technique and scoring options on the mat. After putting in the work, the campers definitely earned their pool time and made the most of every minute on the ranch.

We closed camp with a big breakfast of pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage before one final practice, then sent everyone home with our traditional pizza party alongside their families.

None of this would be possible without our incredible staff. A huge thank you to Justice Davis, Devon Dawson, Clara Jauch, and Gage Gross for pouring so much into these athletes all week.
