Prescott was in the news yet again. So many great restaurants, excursions, and fun for all ages. So much beauty and history to see and experience.

We send all of our Chalet vacation rental Guests our own unique list of Suggestions of places to go, things to do, great restaurants, day trips out of Prescott, and other local insider tips — most of which we have personally “test driven.”

Our high summer season is pretty much fully booked, but we still have a good selection of Autumn and early Winter dates left at both our Chalets — both gorgeous seasons in Prescott.

Triple Creek - Triple Great! Best outdoor fireplace in Prescott. Plus enjoyed a great ribeye steak dinner here tonight. A little chilly though to be outside, so we ate at the bar.

Beautiful view, as always, from the best table in the house at one of our favorite restaurants, Lynx Lake Cafe.  Excellent food with a little bit of a German twist (although , sadly, they eliminated their potato pancakes which were primo). They also serve outdoors on picnic tables, but it was a little windy today, so we opted to go inside. The hours here are a little quirky, so you always need to make sure it’s open before you drive over. We’ve found that calling to ensure they’re open is better than looking at their website.  Once Prescott really warms up, they will put out their hummingbird feeders right outside our window here, and then you get the added entertainment of watching those sweet little birds dive bomb the feeder.
