Stanley Harrison, from Dallas County, Arkansas, passed away leaving a legacy of service and integrity. A graduate of Henderson State Teachers College, Stan served in the Vietnam War, commanding D Company, 2nd Battalion, and F Troop, 17th Cavalry. His decorations include the Silver Star and Bronze Star with V Device.
After retiring from the Army in 1992, Stan enjoyed running a hunting business in Arkansas, walking his dogs and attending Vietnam War reunions. Preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Odell, he is survived by his wife, Antoinette; children, Richard, Adriane, and Misty; sister, Eva Jane; and six grandchildren.
Known for his captivating storytelling, Stan never met a stranger. He lived by the values of respect and high standards, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life service will be held May 15th at 1:00 pm at Macedonia United Methodist Church, Dallas County Road #203. Reception with refreshments to follow. Please bring a portable chair.

From AR Hwy 8 Junction with AR Hwy 9 in Princeton, travel West on Hwy 8 approximately 3 miles. Dallas County Road 203 junctions on left. There is a sign for Macedonia Church & Cemetery at junction. Church is approximately 2 miles from there.
From Arkadelphia, travel Hwy 8 East through Manning. Then Dallas 203 is on right approximately 5 miles (again note Macedonia sign).
