Proctor supports its military-connected community members and was designated a Yellow Ribbon Community by the State of Minnesota. A Yellow Ribbon Community is one that unites key areas within a community to create a comprehensive network that connects and coordinates agencies, organizations, resources and employers for the purpose of creating access to resources that meet the needs at the local level of Service Members, Veterans and Military Families across the state of Minnesota.

Did you know that a significant number of Minnesota National Guard members are technically considered federal employees when they work full time here in the state? That means that many of our local military members are affected by the government shut down and are not receiving paychecks.

Let's work together as a community to support our service members during this stressful time! Please donate at the link below to support getting gas and grocery cards to our affected military members and their families.

We know that other community members need help at this time too, and there is a donation drive happening through the month of November at Bayview Elementary School in Proctor where you can drop off essential food, personal or household items for local families in need.

Please do what you can to support our friends and neighbors!

Twin Ports Career & Resource Fair - Open to Veterans, Currently Serving Service Members, Military Spouses, and their families. And the Public

This Friday MN Career Force is hosting a Career and Resource fair for Veterans, currently serving Service Members, Military Spouses, and their families; including jobs for Military Youth. 50+ employers and resource providers will be available.

When: Friday, 1 November 2024

My favorite fundraising event of the year is coming up! My annual 🇺🇸Cupcakes for Vets Fundraiser🇺🇸 will be November 9-16. If you haven't been around for this fundraiser, here's what to expect....

❤️ A week's worth of mixed batches that will be available to pre-order
🤍 Raffle tickets for a chance to win free cupcakes for a year
💙 Giving back to the Veterans who have given so much..
50% of the profits made from cupcake sales and 100% of raffle sales will go directly to our local chapter of Disabled American Vets. ..
❤️The pre-order post for cupcakes will go up next Sunday, November 3. Be sure to act fast as each day will have a limited amount.

🤍 Raffle tickets are now available for purchase until November 16 and can be purchased via Venmo, PayPal, Zelle or with cash upon pick up. (Please just be sure to send me a private message prior to sending an electronic payment.) Tickets are $5/ea.

💙 If you're coming for Customer Appreciation Day this Tuesday, you can buy raffle tickets with cash on your way through the line!
