It’s the end of a wonderful era for our family. We are passing the Joshua Paine House to a new owner with hopes they will enjoy it as our family has since the 1950’s. Our grandparents started their guest house business here, our parents continued it right up to our mother’s death earlier this year. We’ll take our memories - and hope all of you who ever stayed here will too.

Gearing up for Summer Season 2021! Family starting to arrive this week and next. Looking forward to seeing friends and neighbors after a long winter.

It is with a heavy heart that we have decided not to rent rooms in the Joshua Paine House for a second summer. This decision is unprecedented for us, but given the situation of the Covid virus, and the restrictions we have due to our guest room configuration, we regretfully must keep the guest house rooms closed for the 2021 season.

For those of you who have had tentative discussions with us about visits this summer, we are sorry, and hope that 2022 will be back to normal.
