Composer and music director Jonathan Brenner and his husband, artist Robert Dallas, are frequent guests of the Somerset. This week, they’re staying in Room 9— where according to Jonathan, “the natural light in the bathroom is perfect for getting ready for tea.”

Here he is— enjoying a morning coffee in a fresh Somerset robe— far from the usual rush of midtown Manhattan. It was raining when Jonathan woke up but as soon as he slipped into the robe, the clouds parted and the sun fell through. That’s when he decided to rebook for late August.
