✨ Meet Kitty Hines ✨

Kitty Leetham married Spencer Hines in 1875, and together they built a life that would leave a lasting mark on Provo. As Spencer’s business success grew, the couple commissioned the construction of Hines Mansion in 1895.

The mansion served as the Hines family home and a gathering place for friends, business associates, and community members. Though the family enjoyed the home for only a few years before Spencer’s death in 1898, the mansion remained a symbol of their accomplishments and vision.

More than 130 years later, Hines Mansion continues to tell the story of the family who built it and the remarkable woman who helped preserve its legacy.
