Happening at the MJQ Irish Cultural & Sports Centre on Columbus Day Weekend!! It’s going to be a great event with live music by The McLean Avenue Band! Hope to see everyone there!

Dust off your boots. We’re having a Barn Dance.
Join us in East Durham for an afternoon of live music, dancing, food, drinks, and good company, all while supporting the upcoming 50th Anniversary of the East Durham Irish Festival.

There’s still plenty of work ahead as we prepare for this milestone year, from improvements around the grounds to the children’s area, entertainment, and everything that goes into making the festival something our community can be proud of.

Come out, have a good time, and help us make the 50th one to remember.

Can’t make it? You can still support the festival by donating.

Neighbors Supporting Neighbors

It is times like these that make us so proud to be part of the East Durham community.
We are so moved to see the local businesses and individuals all chipping in to support Rachael Kennedy and the Kennedy family following her accident. Whether it’s a donation for the auction or a prize for the raffle, the generosity on display is a true testament to the spirit of neighbors supporting neighbors.
If you’d like to join in, the community is coming together this weekend:
Where: 5 Furlongs Tavern
When: Valentine’s Day (Saturday, Feb 14th)
How to help: Raffle and auction prizes are still being collected at the pub this week.
We are humbled to stand alongside all the other local businesses contributing to this cause. Let’s keep that momentum going for Rachael.
