Harriet's House Harriet's House is a combination of Put-in-Bay rental home, spacious luxury suites, cozy bungalows, and luxurious 3-story town houses. Welcome!

Harriet's House was built around 1878 by John and Mary Esselbach, becoming one of the first Put-in-Bay Ohio homes still standing today. In 2002, Linda and Denny Rectenwald took over ownership of the property, renamed this new venture Harriet's House, and a new guest house business began on Put-In-Bay. Customers have been returning year after year as new friendships have been made. If you have not

We are excited to announce that we have purchased parking passes for our golf carts at Harriet’s House. What does this mean for you???
If you rent a cart from us, you are able to park in any of the paid parking spots on the island for free! It’s going to be a beautiful weekend! Come rent a cart from us and we even have a couple of rooms still available! Get your summer started out right with a stay on Put-in-Bay. ☀️
