We absolutely loved our stay with Candy and Freddie! They have truly thought of everything. The cottage is beautiful, comfortable, full of adorable eclectic touches, and the farm-fresh goodies Candy leaves are amazing. Definitely check out her homemade soaps and lotions too. She even made something custom for a skin issue with my horse, which was incredibly thoughtful.
The two pot-bellied pigs are the sweetest, their Pomsky is adorable, and Candy and Freddie are wonderful hosts. They give you complete privacy but are also genuinely fun people to sit and chat with. Freddie knows so much about the area and local culture and gave us great recommendations.
I stayed over my birthday, and Candy surprised me with a card, fresh whoopie pie, candle, and birthday hat, which was such a sweet touch.
The whole area is absolutely beautiful. Sitting on the porch swing, listening to the buggy horses go by, watching the hummingbirds, breathing in the fresh air, and seeing the stars at night was exactly what I needed.
