Then, now, and our current and biggest project yet.
Hard to believe that tiny cabin was all that was here 8 years ago today. The day we started calling this place home.
Our first year we built a second cabin, the following couple years we focused on building out the homestead and adding animals. Then came the campground, which gets better and better every year.
Now we are starting our new home build. A real house! With a garage, mud room, pantry, 3 bedrooms and multiple bathrooms. Central air. Ahhh. How far we’ve come in 8 years. And how far we have to go. Today we are working on the well house. House design is with the engineers, then the real work can begin. Thankfully with the help of some great subcontractors. We are as excited (and also a little nervous) for our next project as we were when we got here, full of big dreams and ambitious plans.
