Due to the power outage happening tonight (7/1/2026) the Rain Forest resort store will be closing at 8:50 and the Salmon House will be closing early at 8:30.

We will resume normal hours tomorrow.

Lost cat down South Shore Road.

From the cat mom.

Sterling, male, 12-13 lbs, 9 yrs old, microchipped, wearing collar with mountains and trees on it, purple pheromone collar, and black harness. Missing since 11 AM on Tuesday May 19.

Timid but sweet, afraid of water, last seen chomping on a patch of grass at the Falls Creek Campground, site #5.

Cat mom is Amanda VanMeter. Plan was to camping until morning of 20th, but will stay later until he is found.

Please let us know at the Rain Forest Resort at 360-288-2535 if you happen to see this wonderful kitty. We will let his cat mom know asap..

Quick Reminder.

We are shifting to summer hours tonight (Thursday, May 14th).

We will be open at the Rain Forest Resort Store from 9am to 9pm. Also, at that point, the laundromat and pay showers will start closing at 8pm.

The Salmon House will also be open from 4pm to 9pm starting on tonight.

It is the time of year.

We will be shifting to summer hours on Thursday, May 14th. Starting Thursday, we will be open at the Rain Forest Resort Store from 9am to 9pm. Also, at that point, the laundromat and pay showers will start closing at 8pm.

The Salmon House will also be open from 4pm to 9pm starting on that day.

It is coming up on summer season.

The Rain Forest Resort Village Store is looking for enthusiastic and friendly people to help out at the front desk.

Also, the Salmon House is looking for additional staff for their kitchen.

If you are interested, drop in and ask for an application, please.
