Come see the "BIG BOY" It's a fabulous piece of railroad history and will be in Portola tomorrow!

The Big Boy No. 4014 visit at the Western Pacific Railroad Museum is this Wednesday, July 10th. 🚂

You still have time to buy admission tickets to the viewing area, which also includes caboose train and motorcar rides.

HWY 70 IS NOW OPEN IN THE FEATHER RIVER CANYON

The reopening involves one-way traffic control along a one-mile stretch near Cresta.

Motorists traveling through the area are advised to stay alert, follow all traffic signs, and anticipate minor delays due to the ongoing construction and one-way traffic control.

Motorists are encouraged to check Caltrans’ QuickMap before traveling for current road conditions or by calling the California Highway Information Network automated phone service at 1-800-427-ROAD (7623).
